Create a Favorite Report

Create a Favorite Report

Reports that communities use often can be saved and re-run from the Favorite Reports tab in the Back Office. For a favorite report, selected parameters will populate automatically while others will be left open to change each time the report is run.

Ways to Favorite a Report

The process of saving a favorite report can be started in three ways. While each of these ways is in a different location, all lead to the same setup window. This section details each way a user may begin the process of setting up a new favorite report.

Set Up a Favorite Report

To save the parameters of a favorite report, follow the steps below:

*NOTE: All fields with an asterisk (*) are required.

  1. Enter a Favorite Report Name to help identify this report later.

  2. If not selected by default, choose the desired Report from the drop-down options.

  3. Check the Share with Community box to allow other Back Office users to run this favorite report.

  4. Select the check box(es) to the left of any parameter that a user should manually enter each time this report is run.

  5. Fill in any non-checked parameters that should be saved with a default value. These set parameters will automatically populate when this report is later run.

  6. If the Date fields are un-checked and should be saved, click the Tool icon to choose a relative day of the week, month, or year. This relative day will automatically adjust the Begin or End Date based on the day you run the report.

*NOTE: Click the Calendar tool to return to the default, single-day selector.

  1. Click Save and Close.

The favorite report is now saved and will be found listed under the Favorite Reports tab. When running this report, only the checked parameters will need to be entered.
