Partner Tech Alfred AD-215 Quick Start Guide

The Partner Tech Self Service Kiosk is composed of the Partner Tech A7 monitor (a), the counter top stand (b) with built-in barcode scanner and printer, and the floor stand (c).

Monitor - Partner Tech A7

The A7's power button (d) is located on the left above the I/O when the monitor is in a portrait orientation. The power button is located on the bottom of the monitor along the left side in the landscape orientation. A quick press of the button powers on the monitor. There is a green LED indicator (e) down the panel from the power button indicating whether it's powered on. Use the Shut Down button from the Terminal Login screen within the application to power off the device.

A user can adjust their view of the touch screen (f) by tilting the monitor up or down. To tilt backwards, lightly press forward on the top of the monitor while simultaneously and gently pulling from the bottom.

The serial number (g) can be found on the back of the unit near the I/O. You may have to remove the cover to get a good view.

The A7 monitor screws into the Counter Top Stand mount (h)  which is a 100 mm x 100 mm VESA mount.

The I/O bay contains four USB 3.0 ports (i) which can be used for plugging in a USB keyboard, an RFID reader, or other peripherals. The LAN 1 port (j) will be used for a wired connectivity to the network. The DC12V input (k) is used for power.

There are peripheral slots (l) on two sides of the unit that allow for an installation of a magstripe reader. If you do not have one but would like to purchase one please reach out to sales@fullcount.net.

Counter Top Stand

The Counter Top Stand's front side is the printer door (m) which is locked via a keyhole (n).

The barcode scanner (o) is located near the top of the printer door and activates when something approaches near the sensor.

When the printer door is opened, the printer (p) and a power strip (q) can be acessed. The A7 monitor and the printer should both be plugged into the power strip.

There are two screw holes (r) on the side of the printer door that are used for mounting credit card terminal brackets.

Printer

The printer has a power button (s) and a feed button (t).

There are two LEDs as well - one of them being a green LED (u) indicating power and a red LED (v) indicating an error.

A release button (w) for the printer drawer can be pressed down to open the drawer and replace the paper.

Floor Stand

The floor stand has a locked door (x) on the back of it where cables can feed through the bottom up to the monitor. The key used to open this door is the same key that opens the printer door.
