If a community changes its network settings or an IP address is swapped, the printer(s) will need to be updated in the Back Office to match the change. To update a kitchen printer, follow the steps below:
*NOTE: Filling in the IP
Address field does not assign the IP to the physical device. To
configure an IP address on a printer, see the instructions HERE.
*NOTE: Repeat step 4 for any additional printers.
The printer IP address is now updated. No settings need to be changed
in the departments; requisitions will print to the printer’s new IP
address using the previously assigned printer group logic.
