Add a Modifier Group to an Item

Modifier Groups reduce the number preparation notes a server must manually type on the Touchscreen. After Creating a Modifier Group, it must be assigned to an item before it will appear on the Touchscreen. To assign a modifier group to an item, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the Admin Center button.
     
  2. Select the Item Management tab.
     
  3. If it is not selected by default, choose the Items subtab.
     
  4. Locate the desired item and click the Details button to its left.
     


 

  1. Under the Item Modifier Groups section, click Add.
     
  2. Select the modifier group from the drop-down menu.
     
  3. Optionally, click the Options icon to set a default modifier.
     
  4. Set a Sort Order for this group.

*NOTE: Repeat steps 5-8 for any additional modifier groups.
 


 

  1. Click Save and Close.

The modifier group(s) is now linked to the item. When this item is selected on the Touchscreen, the modifier group will appear for the server to select the customer's preferences.
