Create a Non-Table Shape

Create a Non-Table Shape

Non-Table Shapes can be used to fill out and clarify a floor plan. New non-table shapes are created in the FullCount Back Office then added to a floor plan on the Touchscreen. To create a non-table shape, follow the steps below:

*NOTE: Unlike tables, non-table shapes can be added multiple times to the same floor plan. For example, if a dining room has four large pillars, a single Pillar shape can be created then added four times to the same floor plan.

  1. Select the Admin Center button.

  2. Select the Tables tab.

  3. Choose the Shapes subtab.

  4. Click the New Shape button.

*NOTE: Fields with an asterisk (*) are required.

  1. Fill in the desired specifications for the new table.
  • Name* – Choose how this shape will be identified in the Back Office and from the Edit Floor Plan screen.
  • Shape Type* – Select between the Circle, Diamond, Rectangle, or Square options.
  • Shape Purpose* – For a non-table shape, select Object.

*NOTE: Select Table to create a new table shape. This shape can then be applied to New Tables.

  • Default Height* – Choose a default height in pixels for this new non-table shape.
  • Default Width* – Choose a default width in pixels for this new non-table shape.

*NOTE: An objects height and width can be manually adjusted from the Touchscreen.

  • Screen Description – Optionally, enter any text that should appear to servers on the object from the floor plan. This field can be used as a label on the non-table shape.

  1. Click Save and Close.

The new non-table shape is now created. See the Knowledge Base article Modify a Floor Plan to add the non-table shape to the Touchscreen.
